Little J recently had surgery on his toe and has been recovering at home. We are so pleased that once he is better he will be able to own his first pair of shoes and wear his cosy fleece Daisy Roots slippers. Daisy Roots kindly sent us a pair of Blue Fleece slippers with pale blue spots for little J to try.

As soon as I opened them they felt so soft and I couldn't wait to try them on little J. At first he is just wearing the right one while his left foot is on the mend.

At first he was a little unsure what it was on his foot. He is not used to wearing anything thicker than a sock. He got used to it very quickly and after wearing his slipper for a little while his foot was so toasty. He usually just wears socks but it can be quite cold sometimes on the wooden floor so these are perfect.

The slippers have an anti slip sole which will be perfect for little J once he starts to stand and walk.
The slippers are machine washable too which is a must for all little ones :)

I really look forward to posting another blog in the near future with little J wearing both his slippers.
