Unless you have been on holiday to another planet you will know that Minions have took over this summer. Whether its on yoghurt's, cheese or cereal, Minions are everywhere. Big J went to see the Minions movie last weekend and loved it. I was a little gutted as I wanted to see it too but he went with his friends. Big J was excited when we were sent the Ravensburger 3D Minions Mayhem puzzle. We have done this type of puzzle before and it was lots of fun.
The puzzle is 3D so its obviously different to a normal jigsaw puzzle. Even though the puzzle stands 16 inches tall there is no need for any glue. The puzzle pieces use a easy click technology.
The Minions Mayhem puzzle has 216 pieces and when completed will create Big Ben.
Once all our puzzles were in piles it was time to start. During our last puzzle we all took a pile each and then fitted it together at the end, we did the same again this time.
Minion Mayhem - Big Ben completed.
we were sent the Minions Mayhem puzzle in return for a full honest review. All thoughts above are our own

The contents are very simple and the instructions included are easy to understand.
Before we started we put all the pieces into little piles in number order. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 and so on. That is one of the biggest differences between this type of puzzle and a normal one. You work by numbers rather than finding pieces of the picture.

Big J was in charge of the bottom part of the puzzle.
Once we had completed the bottom half it was nice to sit back and look at it because up until then we were so focused on the numbered pieces we hadn't looked at the photo.
We attached the bottom half to the base and we slotted in a yellow plastic square piece on top so we could fit the clock part on.
I would have preferred the clock part to be an actual clock but unfortunately it isn't.
Big J and I found the top part of puzzle to be quite tricky so we left that to Daddy. Daddy was able to do it easily and it was soon finished.

The puzzle is really sturdy.
Just the right amount of pieces

What Could Improve
We would have preferred the clock to be a real clock.

We love this and it now stands next to our Eiffel Tower.
