You will know by now that we are very fond of Brewers Fayre and we are lucky to have one quite close to home. Earlier this evening we enjoyed a lovely meal and if you are looking for somewhere to take the kids then I would definitely recommend a visit to Brewers Scare this half term. After its recent refurbishment little J loves the new Beano play area and with spooky activities planned for next week I'm sure we will be back for another visit.
Every day from 9:30-12 there will be spooky activities with arts, crafts, games and plenty of fun to keep the kids busy. The children can also join in with a spooktacular disco on 30th and 31st of October.
Also if you have a fan of Beano they will delighted to receive a free halloween Brewers Scare Beano comic with every childs meal.
The main menu has changed slightly too so I tucked in to delicious smothered chicken which was yummy. They still offer the buffet style menu every evening from 5pm but we decided to dine off the main.

There is plenty of choice on the menu and we have always found Brewers Fayre reasonably priced. Little J usually gets the burger or hotdog. The burger and chips come in a little basket which is cute and he gets a pot of beans on the side.
It was the first time we have visited since the refurbishment and it was nice to be able to dine in the play area so we could keep an eye on little J as he played in the toddler area. There are two parts to the play area and both are suitable for little J although he does need help in the bigger area from his big brother.

After his children's burger little J made sure he saved some room for his ice cream sundae.
As always we enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend a visit to your local Brewers Fayre.
