Thomas and Friends - The Christmas Engines DVD Review

Every year we start getting in to the Christmas spirit earlier and earlier. We have a HUGE list of Christmas films to watch and we have a Christmas CD we play in the car. We usually start around 25th November but this year we have already started when we recently watched Thomas and Friends - The Christmas Engines DVD.

Thomas and Friends are excited about Christmas and are ready to be Santa's engine helpers. Percy brings some holiday fun to Reg at the scrapyard, while Duncan tries to overcome his bah humbug attitude.

Thomas clears the snowy tracks so Connor can race passengers home in time for the holidays. James causes confusion and delay helping Duck get unstuck.

An old friend returns to Sodor bringing Percy the perfect gift.

Little J sat watching the DVD for the full 68 minutes.

The DVD contains five Christmas episodes including

Last Train For Christmas
Long Lost Friend
Duncan The Humbug
Duck In The Water
The Perefct Gift

We decided to play all episodes although there is an option to choose an episode of your choice. We hadn't seen any of the episodes before and they really got us in the Christmas spirit.

Lots of snowy scenes.

Little J recognised snow straight away as we had recently been to Chill Factore but other than that he has never seen snow before. I really do hope he gets to see snow this Christmas because it does make Christmas even more magical.

Thomas and Friends - The Christmas Engines is a lovely Christmas DVD. Little J loved it so much that we have watched it twice since.

Thomas and Friends Christmas DVD is currently priced at £5 on Amazon, I would definitely recommend it for any Thomas fan.
