We are so lucky to have Liverpool ONE so close to where we live. For years we had to venture further afield for shopping trips and meals out. Since Liverpool ONE arrived we have everything we could ask for. Now you can drop the kids off at school and you can get everything you need and more before you have to pick them up again. Here's how we recently went Christmas Shopping at Liverpool ONE.
Liverpool ONE Christmas Tree 2015
After dropping big J off at school we headed straight in to town. Its only 10 minutes in the car so we were there before 9am. It was a rainy day so I am so glad we could park in Q Park which is located in Liverpool ONE. The first two storeys are huge and offer plenty of spaces, level three is mainly disabled and Hilton Hotel parking and level four has some spaces and also a small Debenhams car park. We always try to park on level four as that has a direct exit onto the upper shopping mall. If you require a buggy you can go to the Q Park information desk on Level three. They are always happy to help and can even offer umbrella's if it is wet outside.
Once we had parked up we headed to the shops to do our Christmas shopping. There are so many shops to choose from. You can also take advantage of Click and Collect which is available in a wide range of stores. This is perfect if you are short of time. Just order online and collect in store. We have used this so many times at John Lewis. It's so easy and free's up more time to enjoy all the other aspects of Liverpool ONE.
My favourite store
Usually while we are out shopping we do get a little peckish so we head up to the The Terrace which has a wide range of bars and restaurants. We have a few favourites including TGI Fridays, Cafe Rouge, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Yee-Rah.
Liverpool ONE is also a prefect day out for the family too, especially this time of year. We are so excited that the Ice Festival has returned to Chavasse Park.
Last year we went to the Ice Festival just before Christmas and it was so much. We went on the Ice Slide, The Carousel and the Santa Train.
We tried to win a teddy too.
We are planning to go back to Liverpool ONE next week and we will make a whole day of it. Some more shopping, a nice meal and then finish off having lots of fun at the Ice Festival.
Have you been to Liverpool ONE?
