We love reviewing new products as it gives us the chance to try out new stuff we may have missed in the shops. However when we were asked to review some Go Ahead goodies it reminded me of a brand I used to love but just forgot about somehow. We used to eat Go Ahead bars a few years ago but stopped and I'm not sure why as they are so tasty and low in kcals.
When it comes to snacks both big and little J are not interested unless it is dipped in chocolate so I was sure that the Go Ahead goodies we received would be just for Daddy and I. I was wrong. I brought the selection to the breakfast table one morning to have a read through and both big and little J decided to give them a try. They both went for the Yogurt Breaks and really enjoyed them. The next morning they both had a Fruity Bake (which were my favourite) and again they went down a treat.
Yogurt Breaks are a crispy biscuit which have a fruity filling. The biscuit is then topped with yogurt. The Yogurt breaks come in 5 flavours Strawberry, Raspberry, Tropical, Red Cherry and Forest Fruits.
Each slice is 73 kcals and just 0.8g of saturated fat.
Fruity Bakes were my favourite. Very similar to a Nutrigrain bar in both look and taste. Two flavours in this range - Apple and Strawberry.
The apple bakes are so yummy and at just 133 kcals they are perfect for a mid morning or afternoon snack.
Crispy Slices are similar to the yogurt breaks just without the yogurt. Daddy really enjoyed these especially the apple which had a hint of cinnamon flavour to it. 7 flavours to choose from including Apple, Orange, Strawberry, Forest Fruits, Blueberry, Raspberry and Red Cherry.
As these don't have any yogurt on them the Kcals is a lot less at just 57 kcals per slice and 0.1g of saturated fat.
I didn't get to try the new Cookie Bites as these quickly became a lunch box favourite. White Chocolate and Raspberry and Chocolate and Orange flavours are available in the mini cookies range. They looked so yummy so I have bought these since and I am hoping to actually get to try some with a nice cup of tea.
98 kcals and 1.1g of Saturated fat.

We are so impressed with the Go Ahead range and have now added some of the range to our weekly shopping list.
