Jamie Raven Sleight Of Hand Magic Set Review

You may have read that recently we went to see Jamie Raven live on stage in Southport. For those that don't know who he is, Jamie came runner up in the 2015 Britain's Got Talent final. He narrowly lost out to Jules and Matisse by just 2 per cent of the vote. We remembered his performances and loved watching him so we were quite excited to see his live show. He mentioned that he would be releasing a range of magic trick sets soon and both Daddy and I got excited as we both love magic. We have had so many magic sets over the years and they are so much fun. For the past few weeks we have been trying out Jamie Raven Sleight Of Hand Magic Set which is one of the four sets that has been released recently.

The set was smaller than I expected however we have enjoyed learning and trying to perfect the tricks. The set contains 1 fake thumb, 5 tissues, 1 marker pen, 3 cups, 4 pom poms, 1 Jamie Raven £5 note, Clip with a pen lid, 5 poker chips and a Jamie Raven membership card. The membership card gives you access to an online secret web link however it also has everything you need to know to actually do the tricks. There are tutorials you need to watch as the set does not contain any instructions, everything you need is via the online web link.

When we signed up we were sent a link and password. This gave us the access we needed to watch the tutorial videos. It showed us how to do each magic trick.

There are 8 videos to watch and if I am honest it was so much better actually watching how to do the trick rather than trying to figure it out from paper based instructions.

The cups and balls and the fake thumb tricks are our favourite but we still have a long way to go before we get it 100% right.

You can buy Sleight of Hand as well as the other sets from Paul Lamond Games. They are currently priced at £13.95
