Review - Wobbly Worm By Spin Master

Last week we were sent a game to try called Wobbly Worm. I had already read reviews about Wobbly Worm online so I knew what to expect but little J had no idea. Wobbly Worm is a ring toss game with a difference, you have to toss the rings on to the worm while he wobbles from side to side.

When it arrived little J instantly figured it out just by looking at the box. He loves games and I knew it was going to be hit. He was so excited as he loves ring toss and always wants to play it when we visit the fair or park.

The game was very simple to set up. First you need to pop in the batteries which are not included. It requires 2 x C batteries, luckily I had some in the cupboard.

There are four poles which attach to one another which then are inserted in to the base shaped like an apple. Depending on the difficulty level you wish to play at you can remove one, two or three of the poles to make the game slightly easier. Once the poles are inserted you then pop the worms head on top.

That's it for set up all you need to do now is switch him on and watch him wobble from side to side. The game is a ring toss game so there are hoops included too. There are 9 in total, 3 of each colour and size. There is a large hoop, medium and small.

Playing the game is simple, each player chooses a colour and then takes the 3 rings of their chosen colour. Take turns to thrown the hoops over the worm. It actually sounds easier than it is as the worm is very wobbly. The larger hoop is obviously easier than the small one.

It is so much fun and compact too so we were able to take it out in the garden.

What We Loved

Easy set up.

Simple game with the added fun of the wobbly worm.

Difficulty can be adapted easily.

Compact so can travel if needed.

Encourages gross motor skills and hand eye coordination.

What Could Improve

As there are four of us we all couldn't play together as there are only enough rings for up to 3 players.
