Review - My Summer Wear From Jacamo

You may have read recently that Michelle was invited to choose and review some new clothes from J.D. Williams. I was lucky enough to also be invited to try some clothes from Jacamo. My clothes tend to be a bit scruffy. I wear typical ‘Dad’ clothes most of the time when I’m not in work. Tracksuits, Everton Shirts, Shorts and Film and TV orientated T-Shirts.  I noticed recently that Big J’s wardrobe is actually a lot smarter than mine, and decided it was time I got myself some smarter clothes to wear.

I wasn’t really too sure which brands Jacamo work with, but my initial thoughts would be that there would probably be brands that I wasn’t too familiar with – now this may just be my lack of ‘trendiness’, but I got a bit of a surprise.  Adidas, Ben Sherman, French Connection, Jack Wolfskin, Original Penguin to mention a few.  Plenty of names that I am familiar with.  I particularly like the Original Penguin brand, I’m not sure why, but I just like the range and the logo.

I ordered 3 items from the website, which was easy to use and offered simple filtering for me to pick my size and colours.  A few days later my items arrived, nicely packaged and ready to wear.  I decided to save my new clothes for our weekend down South at Thorpe Park and Legoland so that I would look and feel smart on the trip.

On the journey down I decided to wear my new Fenchurch outfit. I haven’t worn anything Fenchurch before but having seen the items on the Jacamo site, I felt like they would suit me. The Warner Polo felt comfortable and smart, and thankfully wasn’t too tight fitting as so many men's clothes are these days. I like a bit of room.  I also wore the Punter Shorts to match, and again they felt comfortable whilst also smart and again nice and roomy.  Great for a long drive.

In Legoland I wore the Original Penguin Space Dye Winston Polo.  I love this polo, its really distinctive and feels more expensive than it is, and I’ll definitely be getting some more Penguin clothes next time I update the wardrobe.

It's so nice to treat myself for a change as like Michelle said earlier on her post, we do have intentions of buying clothes for ourselves but usually walk out the shop with clothes for the boys.

You can check out all the brands on offer by visiting Jacamo and I would definitely recommend it.
