You may have read my post recently about us sampling the new Summer Set Menu at Prezzo. We had lots of delicious food and drinks and while we were there we had the chance to take part in a Cocktail Making Masterclass. John and I have never done anything like this before and as the cocktails were going to have Peroni in John was very excited to make them.
The Peroni Infusions Cocktails are a new addition to Prezzo this Summer as is the Peroni Pop Up Bar at Prezzo Manchester Media City. The pop up bar is outside Prezzo and is the perfect way to enjoy a drink or cheeky cocktail on a Summer evening.
After our delicious food our Cocktail Maker host introduced himself and spoke about Peroni and where it originated from and how it got it’s name. He was extremely friendly and really seemed to love his job. I guess making Cocktails is lots of fun.
The first cocktail we made was a Peroni Spritz.
Our host explained that a Spritz is usually the chosen drink before your meal.
To make the Peroni Spritz we were given a large wine glass.
The Peroni Spritz was very tangy due to the grapefruit juice but was delicious.
Next up a Peroni Limoni
This drink is served in a tall glass and starts with 150ml Peroni Nastro Azzurro being added to the glass. Next is 30ml of Limoncello then 15ml of Lemon Juice. You then add some mint sprigs in to the glass.
Again this was very tangy, the lemon flavour is very strong.
Actually making the cocktails was lots of fun and something I would love to do again

To make the Peroni Spritz we were given a large wine glass.
We poured 100ml of Peroni Nastro Azzurro in to the glass, followed by 50ml of Prosecco. We then added 30ml of Pink Grapefruit Juice. We then added 30ml of Aperol. To finish off we garnished with an orange wedge.
