It only seems like yesterday that little J was starting Reception but fast forward a year and we are almost at the beginning of his second half term of year one. For me this is when school really starts. I think it's been a big shock for him as in Reception it is mostly learning through play, however his classroom is very different now. There are almost no toys but lots of desks. He still seems so young and although he has lots of energy he does get tired quite easily as I've mentioned before. He's usually in bed before 7pm and needs his 12/13 hours sleep. John and I have discussed whether he may need to take a multivitamin as he is quite fussy when it comes to eating foods that are good for him. We were delighted when Bassetts vitamins sent over their Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Pastilles. They were just what we needed.
Although our half term has been fun filled and busy there have still been times to chill throughout the day, whether watching the TV or on his tablet so I know little J will find it hard getting used to 9-3 again at School. To help him on his way he has been trying out the Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Pastilles and so far so good.
Little J found it difficult at first as he doesn't eat sweets or jellies so the texture of the pastille was something he wasn't used to. He swished the pastille around his mouth for a minute not knowing what to do with it. He soon got used to the texture and chewed it until it was gone.
I could tell instantly he liked the taste as he managed to keep it in his mouth. Usually anything he is unsure of or doesn't want to try will come straight back out. When I asked him what it tasted like he said "They taste like orange juice" "yummy". He then asked for another. I told him it was only one a day, he wasn't impressed.
I asked him if he wanted to draw a picture of what the pastilles tasted like and he agreed. Getting him to sit at his desk with paper and pens is usually tough as he would rather be playing with cars or lego so I was very happy when he got stuck in and drew me a lovely picture. He drew an orange, a cup with a straw and some vitamins.
Bassetts Vitamins launched Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour specifically for 3-6 year olds. They are a unique offering with all the benefits of a standard multivitamin but added Omega-3 in a delicious orange flavour. What’s more, they are made with natural flavours and colours, and no added sugar. They currently have an RRP of £5.50 for a pack of 30 pastilles.
Each tasty and chewy vitamin contains Vitamin B6 to support normal psychological function and Vitamin B5 to help maintain and support mental performance to support a smart way to start the day
We are so pleased that little J likes the vitamins and how easy it has been taking one each day. They are a perfect way to help and support a child's ongoing growth, development and mental performance.
If like us, you have a fussy eater or would just like to make sure your little one is getting the necessary vitamins then we would definitely recommend Bassetts Vitamins as they are an easy and tasty way to get more essential Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B6 into your little ones’ diet.
Do you have a little one starting school or moving up to year one this September?
