Review | Pull My Finger

To a five year old there's probably nothing funnier than toilet humour. Being the only girl in a house with 3 boys I have heard all the poo and fart jokes and whilst I may find them funny, they find them hilarious. When we were sent Pull My Finger game to review I knew instantly little J would love it.

The idea behind Pull My Finger is you pull the monkeys finger and by doing so his bum will begin to inflate. You take it in turns and eventually the bum will inflate to a point then the monkey will let out a fart.

 Inside the box you have
Mr Buster the Monkey
2 Bums - this is incase one over inflates and bursts
Monkey Tail
Monkey Spinner
Monkey Base

You have to firmly attach the bum to the monkey and then fix the monkey to the base. There is no need for batteries so it's a quick setup and then you're ready to play.

The aim of the game is very simple. You spin the spinner and it will land on one of the following...

1, 2, 3, 3 and spin again, 4, reverse, skip turn and players choice.

If you land on a number you have to pull the monkey's finger that amount of times and watch as the monkeys butt inflates. If the monkey doesn't fart, play continues to the next player.

If you land on reverse, play continues in the opposite direction.

Skip turn means you miss a go.

Players choice means it's up to the player to choose who they want to pull the monkeys finger.

Play continues until the monkey farts and his bum begins to deflate.

We actually found it quite hard to pull the finger, you do need quite a bit of strength to actually get the bum to inflate and we found if you are not quick enough between turns it will start to deflate a little.

Each game lasted between 10 to 20 minutes and little J laughed throughout as he anticipated the monkey farting.

Pull My Finger is suitable from 4+ which is the perfect age range for this type of game. Little ones will find it hilarious. You can find out more about the game by visiting Jakks Pacific.

Pull My Finger is available to buy from most good toys stores and online
