Biscoff and Banana Waffles Recipe
Ingredients
- Weetabix ( 1 Weetabix makes approx 2 waffles and 2 Weetabix makes approx 5)
- Muller Light Yoghurt (Any flavour) or Quark
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon of sweetener
- 1 teaspoon of Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
- 1 tablespoon of Biscoff smooth or crunchy spread
- 1 Banana
- Fry light
- Waffle Mould
Instructions
- First crumble the Weetabix into a bowl. It should have no hard lumps in
- Add the egg and the yoghurt or quark
- Mix until it has a creamy texture and no lumps
- Sprinkle the teaspoon of sweetener into the mix
- Add a teaspoon of Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
- Spray your waffle mould with Fry Light to prevent sticking
- Pour out your mixture in to the waffle mould evenly - do not overfill
- Once the mixture is in the mould pop in the oven for 25 minutes on 200°c
- Check the mixture is dry inside before removing from the oven
- Once cooked leave to cool for 1-2 mins then turn the waffle mould over on a plate to release the waffles
- Using a knife spread the Biscoff spread over your waffles and add sliced banana
- If you prefer you can sprinkle another teaspoon of sweetener over the waffles
The Biscoff and Banana waffles are a great start to the day and perefct for those with a sweet tooth.
