Staying at the Gulliver’s World Hotel in Warrington

We have visited Gulliver's World many times over the years but we have never stayed at the Gulliver’s World Hotel. We love theme park hotel stays but I guess because we live close we have never considered staying over until recently. We visited Gulliver's World and stayed at the hotel as part of their New Year’s Eve package (which we’ll cover in another post) and I have to say we were really impressed by the hotel, the staff and the closeness to the theme park. If you are planning a visit to Gulliver's World and are looking for a family friendly hotel in Warrington then I definitely would consider extending your trip and here's why Gulliver’s World Hotel is a fantastic choice for families.

A Warm and Welcoming Ambience

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and a real relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The lobby was bright and cheerful, setting the tone for a family-friendly stay. Check in was really easy and we were given all the information we needed for the New Years Eve celebrations. We were then given a free glass of Prosecco and there was juice available for the kids. It was a lovely warm welcome on a very wet and cold night and was much appreciated.

Spacious and Family-Friendly Rooms

We have enjoyed theme park hotel stays in the past and have always been pleased with our room and this room did not disappoint. It was everything we could have hoped for as a family. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, it provided plenty of room for all of us to relax and unwind. Our room consisted of a double bed, a single bed and then a trundle bed. It was just the 3 of us so we had plenty of space but it could easy accommodate a family of four. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with all the essentials. Our view from the window was the entrance to Gulliver's World, it really is that close! Even if you are not visiting the park the room was a perfect choice for a family friendly hotel in Warrington

The Bar and Breakfast Options

As we were at Gulliver's World for New Years Eve we headed straight to the theme park. Once we had finished in the park we headed back to the hotel and after freshening up we headed to the bar. There was lots of seats available and we noticed the children were in a separate area which looked like a cinema room. I'm not too sure if it was movies or cartoons but the kids all seemed to be enjoying it.

The bar offers a range of drinks and a small selection of snacks such as crisps and chocolate. They do not offer any hot or cold food. We noticed some guests ordering takeaway pizzas which I assume were delivered. They were allowed to eat these in the bar area. There were wall mounted TV's that were playing BBC1 and the News Year Eve countdown which was nice.

We had breakfast in the park as part of our package however when returning to the hotel I noticed there was free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast menu.

One of the biggest advantages of theme park hotel stays is they are usually close to the theme park. The Gulliver's World Hotel is situated right next to the Gulliver’s World theme park, it’s just a short stroll away from all the fun.
